Night

The darkness of night was once refreshing, now to me it is nothing but depressing. Passed days not so far away, the night was a place I’d go and stay. Many a time I would enjoy the night air, and loved to feel the winds fingers run thought my hair. But now that feeling is gone, as if everything has gone all wrong. One thing that the night brought, was a man that I thought could be easily forgot. As the sun dropped out of sight, he would come and make things right. My feeling for him I never told, but the sweetness he gave me I will always hold.
